One sunny summer afternoon, Amara held Aarav's little hand as his bright red toy car rolled away and splashed into the warm sea. Hand in hand, the two friends stepped into the shallow water and dipped gently beneath the glittering waves.

Just beneath the surface, ribbons of golden sunlight danced all around them, and the ocean's gentle magic let them breathe as easily as on land. Amara and Aarav floated happily, watching silver fish flicker around a bright coral reef.

Aarav's little lip wobbled, for he loved his red car very much. Amara squeezed his hand softly and whispered that they would look together, slow and careful, until they found it.

Then, in a swirl of giggling bubbles, tiny Mila came bobbing down in her light blue dress and slipped her hand into Aarav's. Together the three little friends drifted deeper, past long, swaying sea-grass.

They glided through a tall kelp forest and beneath a soft cloud of purple jellyfish, peeking under shells and inside an old barnacled shipwreck. "Little car, little car, where are you?" they called gently into the blue.

Down where the water turned dim and blue, the friends could not see very far, and the deep felt quiet and new. Mila held on a little tighter, and Amara and Aarav held her right back.

Just then, a kind old sea turtle paddled up, with tiny glowing fish twinkling around his shell like little night-lights. He smiled and told them he had seen something small and red roll past his sea-cave.

Following the turtle's gentle glow, they found the little red toy car nestled in soft sand by a pearl-lined cave. Aarav hugged it close, then happily let Mila and Amara each have a turn rolling it softly through the water.

The kind turtle gave them a smooth pink shell that hummed like the sea, and the three little friends rode a warm, slow current up toward the golden light. They yawned softly as they rose, their eyes growing sleepy.

And as they rose together through the ribbons of golden light and broke the surface, the ocean sang a soft song, and everyone knew the sea had given its greatest gift of all. Wrapped in fluffy towels on the warm sandy shore, Amara, Mila, and Aarav cuddled close with the little red car and the humming shell, their eyes growing heavy as the gentle waves whispered goodnight.

Sweet dreams.
